More Information
What documentation do you require?
For all dogs we require a current copy of Distemper, Bordatella and Rabies. For cats, FVRCP and Rabies. Additionally, for all boarders we require a signed copy of our Boarding Agreement and a completed Information Form. For faster processing, we recommend you fax all documentation prior to check-in. Our fax number is (650) 593-2227. Please call us at (650) 593-1413 if you have any questions regarding documentation.
What should I bring?
Please feel free to bring anything you feel would make your pets stay more comfortable. Pets are often more comfortable and adjust more quickly if there is something in the room that smells like home. Please note however, we cannot allow feather or down bedding of any kind or anything that will shatter or break. You do not need to bring food bowls. Stainless steel bowls are provided for all of our guests.
What is included in the daily rate?
The daily rate for dogs includes a fully enclosed kennel run, playtime & food. Administration of medications, walks & extra playtime for dogs and cuddle time for cats may be added for a nominal charge. Please see our Boarding page for more information.
Can my dogs share a room?
Two dogs may share a room if they live in the same household (this must be confirmed by vet records) and they can eat together unsupervised. Boarding your dogs together in a shared room is at your own risk. If your dogs are unable to co-habitate, they will be placed in separate kennel runs for the remainder of their stay. We can only allow two dogs per kennel.
What type of food do you serve?
We serve a high-quality, all natural canine & feline Formula. Nutritional information is available at our front desk. If your pet has a sensitive stomach or is on a special diet, please bring your own food. Please make sure to bring enough food for a few days longer than the scheduled stay. Remember, many things could affect your travel and we want your pet to be comfortable and happy, regardless of unforeseen circumstances.
Can I bring food from home?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring whatever your dog normally eats at home. We also have the ability to refrigerate food, if necessary, but please note that we do charge a small fee for food from home.
What if my pet gets sick during his/her stay?
Your veterinarian's name and phone number is recorded and kept in our records. The veterinarian on file will be notified for major emergencies. If something happens after your veterinarian's office is closed or a non-life-threatening illness occurs, we contract with a mobile veterinarian who remains on-call 24 hours per day.
Can I call to check on my pet while I'm away?
Of course! Our guests don't have phones in their rooms, however we will be happy to report on how they are doing.
